Let's not speak about the Marathon. Instead let's celebrate that I no longer have verucas! (Is that too much information?)
This morning I'm playing the part of international troubleshooting software developer on my way to Oslo to discuss a new web application project. Even though I stayed overnight near the airport, I still had to be up at 5 (ouch) because I was worried about getting through security. It only took 10 minutes (!) so now I'm settling down to a nice cooked breakfast - the best terminal 5 has to offer.
I've downloaded a podcast called "Learn Norwegian in one minute" and I can say hello and goodbye. What more do I need???
And no, I'm not interested in the Norwegian for marathon.

In these shoes...
I have just run further than I have ever run in my life! 6 whole miles!
I've discovered that running can be a great way of giving yourself space to think. I have been thinking a lot about the cabaret I'm organising with my Yale cabaret convention friends and I realise that I have a choice about whether to stress about it or just go with the flow and enjoy it. Guess which path I'm choosing to follow? Hooray! Let's have a ball!
Let's face it, if you can run 6 miles then you can do just about ANYTHING!!

Mr Tiddles!
It's the last night for the Uglies in Market Harborough and Mr Tiddles himself is in the foyer presiding over the merchandise. Here he is looking awfully pleased to be here!

First night success!
I'd be lying if I said we weren't nervous about presenting our little show to a near sell out audience of big and little kids here in Market Harborough. But we needn't have worried! A wonderful time was had by all... and Dereck even managed to say the line about the "north Northamptonshire south Leicestershire border" without tripping over his tongue. In fact the audience were so impressed they asked for a reprise!! Go on, try saying it quickly... It's not as easy as it sounds!
Uglies Do Harborough!
It's a glorious day here on the north Northamptonshire south Leicestershire border. Annie and Fannie are about to hit the town!
The team have arrived at Harborough Theatre to set up... sound and lights are being set. I'm waiting for Dereck to arrive from London. I'm nervous and excited at the same time!!!

Hello dahlings!
It's Miss Christina here! I'm here waiting for my cue here at the Market Drayton Festival Centre. Once again I am sad to report that the audience is full of misguided youngsters who think my sister and I are ugly. Who does Cinderella think she is anyway?
